• On the edge of the The Yorkshire DalesĀ  and referred to in the Domesday book as Ventorp, Ingthorpe Grange was once owned by the monks of Bolton Priory and run as a kind of monastic farm. It was rebuilt in 1672 by the Baldwin family who lived there for 5 generations. It is a very special place whose peace and tranquility reflects its monastic history. On the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Ingthorpe is nestled at the heart of the soft rolling landscape which typifies the area. Footpaths and bridleways criss cross the immediate surroundings and the historic towns of Settle, Kirkby Lonsdale and Harrogate are within easy reach.
