Ingthorpe Grange is an eclectic mix of antique and decorative furniture with the extensive stone floors, painted furniture, mirrors, coloured glass and the soft tones in the decor. Ingthorpe reminds you of a French country retreat, or a Tuscan villa with a lovely mixture of formality and relaxation.

Leslie’s focus has been to create an interesting and usable environment for her family and now her guests. Breakfast is taken in the centre of the house in the grand dining room with a log burning stove and a huge, comfortable sofa. Antique napkins, William Yeoward glass and vintage crockery all add to the atmosphere of the house. In the summer, the dining room door can be left open so the guests can take their coffee into the pretty formal garden with uninterrupted views of the countryside.

The bedrooms are simply furnished, spacious and comfortable with the bathrooms also being large, light and airy.

Leslie is also a member of Welcome to Yorkshire, winner of the world’s best tourist board.
